長時間インターバル撮影におけるバッテリー駆動時間の計測

長時間インターバル撮影にあたってそれぞれのバッテリー駆動時間を知っておくと、バッテリー交換をタイミングよく行うことができる。

計測方法：Nikon D850を使い9秒間隔のインターバル撮影でカメラが作動しなくなるまで撮影し、撮影枚数、撮影開始と終了の時刻から撮影時間を計算した。

使用したバッテリー：Nikon EN-EL15bと次の記事に記載したバッテリー

結果
Nikon EN-EL15b（1900mAh）：1727枚、4時間17分
CASE RELAY（1200mAh）：372枚、49分
NISSIN PS 8（3000mAh）：1753枚、4時間22分
NP-F970互換（6600mAh）：4561枚、11時間24分

考察
バッテリーに表記された放電容量（mAh）からは単純に駆動時間は計算できないことが分かった。
計測は1回だけなので信頼性は高くないが、参考となるデータは得られたと思う。
バッテリーはカメラ本体と外部の2系統としホットスワップを利用し外部を適宜交換できるようにしておくことが必要である。
寒い屋外での撮影ではバッテリーの性能が低下することを考慮する必要がある。

Consideration
It was found that the drive time cannot be calculated simply from the discharge capacity (mAh) indicated on the battery.
Since the measurement is only once, the reliability is not high, but I think that we have obtained reference data.
It is necessary to use two batteries, the camera body and the outside, and use hot swap to replace the outside as appropriate.
It is necessary to consider that the performance of the battery will deteriorate when shooting outdoors in the cold.
