可変NDフィルター Variable Neutral Density Filter [Filter]
夜景を長時間露光してみたいと思って購入した可変NDフィルター。原理は2枚の偏光フィルターの交差角度を変えることで光の透過量を調節する。日本製は高価で、使用頻度に見合わないため安価な中国製を購入した。暗さは2～400倍だが、正確な透過量はわからない。ピントを合わせる時は一番明るくし、所定のところまで回転させるがこの製品にはわかりやすい目盛がなく、特に暗いところでは懐中電灯や携帯電話などで照明する必要がある。

Kenko KDS mount remodeling [Tripod]
望遠レンズで写真を撮る時、三脚の雲台の角度の微調整が難しい。そこで、ケンコーKDSマウントを改造した。ケンコーKDSマウントは、水平と上下の回転が2つのノブで微調整でき、適度なフリクションで直接回転することもできる。しかし重心位置が高くなるので、部品の一つを180度回転し雲台を付け替えた。フリクション調整のノブは六角レンチで調整できるボルトに付け替えた。ケンコーKDSマウントにはプレートが付属していないので、GITZO GS2370LAを購入した。

高画素のパノラマ写真を撮ってみようと思いマンフロットのパノラマヘッド300Nを買った。
下の写真で右に見えるネジを差し込むところによって、360°を4～72カットの範囲で10段階のクリックが設定できる。例えば焦点距離60mmのレンズは横が32°くらいなので12カットに設定すれば360°パノラマ写真が撮れることになる。

YONGNUO LED Light YN-160 [Lighting]
以前は小物を撮る時、ストロボをレフ板にバウンズし照明していたが、影や反射の様子が撮ってからでないとわからなかったが、高輝度のLRDライトの価格が手ごろな価格で販売されるようになったので買った。1280ルーメンあり、光量調節もできる。YN-160にはバーンドアがついていて、本来の使い方以外に、収納時にカバーにもなるので便利である。フィルターは無色、オレンジ色、赤色、青色の4枚が付属している。ACアダプターが使えると勘違いしてACアダプターも買ってしまったが、付属のバッテリーアダプターを改造して使えるようにした。色温度は無色フィルター使用時で4700～4800度くらいではなかろうか。

当時持っていた大光量のストロボはMINICAM SC-150で、GNが65、240Wsぐらいだ。チャージに10秒くらいかかった。フィルムカメラの時はこれで十分であった。しかしデジカメを使うようになるとチャージ時間の短いものが必要となったが、プロ用のストロボはいずれも高価で手がでなかった。
そんな時、偶然MB-400をみつけた。本体と発光部が一体となったもので、400Ws、GNが90くらい、光量は1/64まで無段階で調整でき、チャージ時間は1.8秒と短い。光量を下げればもっと速くなる。冷却ファンが内蔵され、過熱防止の保護機能が付いている。1/16光量で、2秒間隔で200回くらい連続して発光したら過熱防止のため発光できなくなることがあった。

Fujin-Dはipp社のレンズ型カメラの掃除機で2015年7月3日に発売された。ipp社のサイトから7月20日までに注文すると、交換用フィルター5枚とポーチがおまけで付いてくる。Canonn用は2014年8月に発売されたいたが、待望のNikon用が発売された。
センサーにごみが付着すると写真に写り込んでしまう。カメラのセンサークリーニング機能でごみが取れることもあるが、とれない場合はミラーアップしてブロアーで吹き飛ばした。それでもとれないことがあり、その場合は、銀座にあるニコンサービスセンターに持ち込んで有料（保障期間中は無料）でクリーニングした。これまでに、D700が買ってから5年半の間に3回、D800は買ってから2年間で2回、有料クリーニングしている。
Fujinは特製のファンによりPM2.5も遮断するフィルターを通過したクリーンな空気がフィンで効果的な気流をおこし、センサー表面だけでなく、ミラーボックス内のごみも外に排出する。

SUNPAK TR-PAKⅡ and AD-27J [Lighting]
SUNPAK TR-PAKⅡは既に生産を終了している。これは新品で2005年頃に購入したと記憶している。単2型電池6本を使用し、SUNPAKのストロボの外部電源として使用するもので、通常フルチャージに10秒以上かかるところ1秒くらいで完了してしまう。一度、調子に乗って連写していたら過熱してストロボを壊してしまった。もう一台は過熱でプラスチックのケースが変形してしまった。秋葉原で交換用のキセノン管を探したが見つからず、この電源が使えるSUNPAKの中古のストロボを買い置きした。

AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G [Lens]
AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8Gは2011年6月発売。35年くらい前に買ったAi Nikkor 50mm F1.4の絞りの動きが悪くなってしない、今年の5月に買った。AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G、AF-S NIKKOR 58mm f/1.4G、SIGMA 50mm F1.4 DG HSMも候補に上がったが、性能の割に安いAF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8Gにした。使用頻度も少ないだろうと思いこれにした。実際に撮ってみると強い歪曲収差があるが、単純な樽型で、現像ソフトで修正しやすいだろう。AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G EDを持っているので、歪曲収差が気になる場合は使い分けする。軽くて小さいのが長所である。カメラへの装着時にマウントの仕上げが雑なことと、フードのロックがすぐに壊れそうなところが気になる。フィルターサイズは58mmである、持っているレンズにはないサイズなので、偏光フィルターなどを使用する時はステップアップリングが必要となる。
