Nikon MC-22はニコンの10ピン端子を持つカメラに接続してシャッターを切ることができる。最新モデルはMC-22A。バナナプラグの黒色と青色を接触させると半押し、さらに黄色も接触するとシャッターが切れる。手動で接触させるよりも、バナナプラグにタイマーをセットしたり、パラレルシャッターで同時に複数のカメラで同時にシャッターを切ったりする。最近はワイヤレスのレリーズが使われると思う。
