Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 2X DGX Nikon N-AF

Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 2X DGX Nikon N-AFは2018年7月に発売された。
レンズとカメラの間に装着し、レンズの焦点距離を2倍にし、F値も2倍になる。F値が2倍になるということは4倍暗くなることを意味する。
手持ちのレンズで使えるか試してみた。
AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor ED 70-200mm F2.8G（IF）、Ai AF-I Nikkor ED 300mm F2.8D(IF)とTELEPLUSとでは問題なく使えた。
AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR、AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm F2.8G EDとTELEPLUSとでは条件によりピント合わせが不安定になった。これらは明るい遠景では使えるが、暗いところや60mmでクローズアップではオートフォーカスが作動せずマニュアルフォーカスでピントを合わせることになる。

The Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 2X DGX Nikon N-AF was released in July 2018.
It is mounted between the lens and the camera, doubling the focal length of the lens and doubling the F-number. Double the F-number means four times darker.
I tried to use it with my own lens.
AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor ED 70-200mm F2.8G (IF), Ai AF-I Nikkor ED 300mm F2.8D (IF) and TELEPLUS could be used without any problem.
Focusing became unstable depending on the conditions between AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f / 4.5-5.6G ED VR, AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm F2.8G ED and TELEPLUS. These can be used in bright distant views, but autofocus does not work in dark places or in close-ups with a 60mm lens, and you have to focus manually.
