Ai Zoom-Nikkor 43-86mm F3.5は1977年3月に発売された。当時の定価は44000円だった。
ヨンサンハチロクと呼ばれていた。国産初の標準ズームレンズである。
今ではあまり見られないが、ズームリングとピント合わせのリングが１つになっていて被写界深度を示す線が幾重にも重なっている。
フードは焦点距離35mmのレンズ用と同じHN-3である。
このレンズを今のデジタル一眼レフにつけると、味わいのある写真が撮れるという噂があり中古品を買ってみた。

1993年12月の発売で2019年11月の時点でも新品が販売されている。オートフォーカスのモーターは内臓されていないので、AFカップリングがついているカメラでないとオートフォーカスが作動しない。レンズ構成はAi Nikkor 20mm F2.8Sと同じと思われる。フィルター径は同じ62mm。フードはHB-4で、Ai Nikkor 20mm F2.8S用のHK-14とは異なる。

Nikkor-N Auto 24mm F2.8は1976年8月の発売。ニコンはAiレンズが発売されたころ、旧レンズを3000円くらいでAiに改造するサービスを実施していて、これはAiに改造されている。実際に昔使っていたのは1972年12月に発売されたNikkor-N・C Auto 24mm F2.8で、近距離補正方式が採用されている。説明書はNikkor-N・C Auto 24mm F2.8のもの。陣笠形の歪みが見られるが20mm F2.8にくらべて少ない。20mmレンズの画角は慣れないうちは非日常的であるが、24mmレンズの画角は日頃遭遇する広い視野に近いのではないかと思っている。

Ai Micro-Nikkor 55mm F2.8S & PK-13 [Old lens]
Ai Micro-Nikkor 55mm F2.8Sは1981年12月発売。センサー面から25㎝まで近づいて倍率1/2倍で撮影できる。AI オート接写リング PK-13を使うと22.5cmの接写で等倍の撮影ができる。当時は定価38,000円で売られていたが、今でも税抜54,000円で新品が売られている。以前D700で撮っていた時にはわからなかったが、D800Eに付けて撮ってみたところ3600万画素でも問題なく使えるレンズであることが分かった。

Ai Nikkor 180mm F2.8は1977年7月発売。発売当時の定価は91000円。200mm F4の2.5倍以上の価格で、憧れの存在であった。中古でも人気のレンズであり、当然価格も高い。レンズが綺麗で外観で傷が多いというだけで安価なものを見つけたので購入した。写りには関係のない傷であっても値段に大きな開きがあるのは、写真を撮ることが目的である者にとってはありがたい。下の写真でもわかるように、大変よく写る。しかしAF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor ED 70-200mm F2.8G（IF）を購入してからは使用頻度が少なくなってしまった。マニュアルフォーカスレンズは、ほかにはない撮る楽しみがあり、自分固有の時の流れを感じるアイテムなのだが。

F3.5とF2.8で撮った写真は、リサイズすると区別できないが、F2.8の方が綺麗に撮れている。最近の広角レンズは素直に樽型に歪曲するので補正しやすいが、古いこれらのレンズは陣笠状に歪曲するので補正が難しい。被写界深度が深いので、目測で合わせて撮影することが多い。手ブレの影響も少ないので慣れれば手持ちで低速シャッターも切れる。
日中は偏光フィルターを使うことが多い。

Reflex-Nikkor C 500mm F8 [Old lens]
Reflex-Nikkor C 500mm F8は1974年9月に発売された。2011年8月に中古で購入した。反射鏡にほこりがたまってしまったので、一度自分で分解しクリーニングした。実は40年くらい前にReflex Nikkor C 1000mm F11を持っていたのだが使いこなせずに売却してしまった苦い思い出がある。
AF-S Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VRを買うまでは、超望遠レンズとしてよく使っていた。焦点距離の割に小さく軽量で取り扱いが楽であるが、絞りはF8固定でボケがリング状になる。
