MH-25にPOKAH DC電源 変換ケーブル（USBメスー5.5x2.1mmメス）を介してSMALLRIG DVバッテリープレート12Vアダプター1765を接続し、NP-F970互換バッテリー（6600ｍAh、7.2V）を使うと安定して作動することが分かった。
カメラ側では正確なバッテリー残量が表示されず、7時間45分以上使えそうだということが分かっている。

CASE RELAYには4種類のDC変換アダプターが付属する。そのうちのひとつ5.5x2.1mmメスーニコン専用接続は、ニコンのパワーコネクターEP-5Bを接続することができる。
CASE RELAY本体は1200mAh、7.4Vのバッテリーが内蔵されているが、USBコネクターで他のモバイルバッテリーを接続することができる。
CASE RELAYでもその先に付けるモバイルバッテリーを撮影中でもホットスワップできるが、私の場合、カメラ本体にEN-EL15を入れ、マルチパワーバッテリーパック MB-D18にモバイルバッテリーを接続している。
